| Brief Bio: |
Dr. Kevin Cleary is the Director of the ISIS Center and a Professor in the Department of Radiology. His research focus is in medical informatics and image-guided interventions. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer with a background in systems engineering and robotics, Dr. Cleary completed NSF-sponsored postdoctoral studies at a Japanese robotics laboratory in 1991 prior to working as a contractor for the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and, later, for a Department of Defense consulting firm. In 1996, Dr. Cleary joined the ISIS Center, where he has since focused on adapting technology developments to clinical applications.
